Seamless Felted Mary Janes

These felted slippers are a quick weekend knit, taking just a few hours to make. They are knitted seamlessly in the round on either two circulars or using magic loop. You can make them completely seamless by using Judy’s Magic Cast On or you can use a long tail cast on and just seam the sole before felting. The strap is just as quick to make and is attached after felting to allow for any adjustment in foot and button size.

The pattern is suitable for the intermediate knitter or advanced beginner who has some knowledge of working on two circulars or magic loop. Full instructions, with pictures where necessary, are given for any part of the pattern where I thought would be helpful including the finishing. You should be familiar with simple decreases and short rows but again, full instructions are given.
